Alicia suggests...

"This GROW SPRING EXPO in Topsfield this coming Saturday is a marvelous, fun, informative event; hosted by the Topsfield garden club. I went last spring & truly enjoyed it, especially for discovering a lot of interesting people, outfits, that I didn’t t know existed."  Alicia

November Meeting: "Herbal Gifts Workshop"

Remembering Joan, Paige and Hope

A beautiful ‘Sherwood Flame' Japanese Maple was planted on October 24th at the Ascension Church. It is in memory of three extraordinary and lovely women and Ipswich Garden Club
members--Joan Cook (1929-2014), Paige Mercer (1942-2017) and Hope Wigglesworth (1927-2017). All three were active members of Ascension Church.

This tree, dedicated to them, will also become a beautifying presence on County Street.

Recommended Garden Book - "The Life in Your Garden- Gardening for Biodiversity"

Alicia recommends "The Life in Your Garden."

This a super book; a "different" kind of gardening book. Copyright 2016. There is lots of interesting info about both plants and critters in the garden. A gem for the curious.
