IGC New Slate of Officers and Committee Chairs

Thanks to all the the ladies who share a love of horticulture, a concern for the environment, and a commitment to Ipswich by serving as officers and chairs of committees in the our Club. We are starting our 92nd year. Serving as an officer or committee chair is a wonderful way to become more invested in our goals and become a more active member of our community of remarkable women. We still have openings for some positions. Officers and committee chairs who make up the Garden Club Board meet together 4 times a year. Board meetings this year are scheduled for September 6th, November 8th, January 10th, and March 7th.

There are a few openings on the Board. We all have families, jobs and responsibilities... so don’t let that stop you from volunteering for a position. You will find that you will have plenty of support to help you. Please contact President Susan Stone if you are interested.

From Alicia: Visit the Herb Farmacy in Salisbury

To “All Hands" (and green thumbs),
I’m encouraging our members that this is a great time to visit Rita Wollmering's amazing greenhouses filled w/ tempting plants to buy, in nearby Salisbury at the Herb Farmacy. Thanks to Rita Wollmering for her generous contribution of herbs to our plant sale.

Happy travels this weekend & enjoy the long days. Only a few are left; in less than a month the nights get longer!
Best,
Alicia

"This GROW SPRING EXPO in Topsfield this coming Saturday is a marvelous, fun, informative event; hosted by the Topsfield garden club. I went last spring & truly enjoyed it, especially for discovering a lot of interesting people, outfits, that I didn’t t know existed."  Alicia
